Emma and Dan - Porsches, Horses and Fireworks
August 13, 2007

OK, strictly speaking there was only one Porsche - but when the groom arrived in a GT3 driven by a professional racing driver with his best man literally crammed in the back “seat” it set the tone for a day to remember. The sun beat down on a glorious Kent countryside day and not to be outdone, Emma arrived in her own special transport. One with a little fewer horsepower than the Porsche.

The ceremony was at Elmstone church - but the reception venue was even more special. Bride and groom had planned the wedding for 18 months - but Dan had started work on the reception literally years before that. He had worked hard on the redesign and remodeling of his father’s farm just near Elmstone. At the time he was preparing a beautiful place for family and friends to spend long summer days - of course this meant it was the perfect venue for his wedding.Acres of fields and an adventure playground to keep the children happy, a huge marquee for the feasting and a beautiful lake for pictures. Really I was spoilt for choice. You could tell the Emma and dan were truly happy and relaxed - it’s not every day I can persuade somebody to lie down on a jetty in a fabulous Ian Stuart dress….
Of course the day had to come to an end - but as the sun set….

…the lights in the marquee came on….

…and the day finished with fireworks!
