Annette and Michael - an Ausie/English wedding. Take 2.
September 3, 2007

Earlier today I posted a sneak peek at my wedding from Friday - Helen and Shane flew in from Australia to be married in Kent. The next day I did it all over again.
This time, Annette and Michael flew in from Australia to be married in Kent. No barbie this time - but they did manage to achieve what thet told me is most Australians’ secret fantasy - they got married in a pub!

That’s Annette just walking down the stairs on the way to her wedding to Michael at the Star and Eagle in Goudhurst.

..and Michael relaxing just after the wedding. Not bad for a groom who really doesn’t like having his picture taken ![]()
A couple of weeks ago, I awarded Lindsay the prize of best bouquet throw of the season. She had the height and length just right and really put her back into the throw. That was a great throw - but this has to rate as one of the best catches of the season.

Notice not only the huge reach to grab the bouquet but the fact that she has both feet off the ground. Really, the other ladies didn’t stand a chance. Of course I’d be very happy to photograph the wedding….
There, and I got through an entire blog post without mentioning Debbie’s unfortunate accident with the dresses on the day before the wedding. Take a close look at the picture below and see if you can figure out why Annette’s sister and bridesmaid Debbie had to sit out the first dance…….

Annette and Michael fly back to Oz next week so the pictures should be online really soon!
