If you’ve been following the saga you’ll know that we moved to a new web host recently. I said there was going to be a period of instability. Wow! was that an understatement!

I swear I followed all the instructions to the letter and everything worked. Apart from a couple of pages. If you’ve clicked on a category page (like Environment ) lately then you’ll have got an error. I put in numerous calls to support and drew on the collective wisdom of the internet. Nothing….so I decided to get down and dirty with the code.

If you were watching closely this morning you will have seen the site down for about 10 minutes. And if you subscribe to the RSS feeds then you’re about to be hit with an avalanche of old news. Sorry. But from now on I promise only new news! Unless something breaks again

The good news is the categories now work and I learnt a whole lot about how the site works

Makes you glad that

1. I used to be a computer geek so playing with the code doesn’t scare me as much as it should
2. I’m better with cameras than I am with websites. Honest.

Oh and watch out for an announcement about out unbelievably cool new proofing galleries. I’ve already seen them and believe me they are worth all this effort!
