Sometimes I forget that people actually read this website. Well, Jessica reads it.  A lot. It was clear when I turned up at her house on Saturday that she has spent a lot of time and effort planning her wedding. And even though she and Barry booked me months ago she’s been keeping up with the news pretty much every day.

Actually when I arrived at the house, everything was calm and quiet. That’s when I realised that Jessica and the bridesmaids were still at the hairdressers. Worth the wait though…..

And of course when Meghan and the rest of the flower girls arrived, things got a lot less quiet.

Of course things were fairly relaxed with the guys. While the girls were getting hair and nails done, Barry was, erm ironing for quite a long time….

And I’m not entirely sure what best man Karl was up to. Worrying about his speech probably…..

But then it was time for the wedding. St Mary’s Church in Chartham has the most stunning roof as well as a handy balcony for photographers to hang out in.

Of course as soon as we walked out of the church the wind picked up. It was nothing like the torrential rain of the day before but a stiff breeze can be a bit of a consideration when you have a h-u-g-e cathedral veil.

And when you look that good, everybody wants your picture.

but we got time for a few snaps away from all the other cameras.

And then it was all the way over to Chartham Village Hall for the reception (actually it was 2 minutes’ walk - but of course Barry and Jessica took the Rolls…)

Which apart from a small incident with the fire alarm went very smoothly……

I think Karl was relieved to finish his speech though. Burning it might have been a little over the top. But he seemed happy enough :)

And of course there’s always time for a dance.

Jessica and Barry are off on honeymoon right now but I know they will be checking this site (probably daily)so please leave your messages for them below.

    oh my god! those pics are amazing!!! was going to say “they look soooooo professional!” but of course they are!!! jess you look immense, but then you always do chick!! cannot wait to see them all!

    just to say i feel i was celebrating with you after browsing through those fantastic pics.
    The dress definately had the wow wow wow factor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    And we would love a pic or two for our website.
    The pics of you both outside are truley amazing, the weather was so right for your occassion.
    The photographer must have been in his element with those shots!
