Why, oh why do I agree to these things?

Anthony and Louise wanted a pre wedding shoot or try before you buy as I like to call them.

They live just a stone’s throw from the beach and so that was the logical place to do it. They had also seen the pictures from Ella and Gareth’s beach shoot and so I knew before I asked exactly when they would want to do it.

Bridalway fashion shoot on Dungeness beach

Two gorgeous dresses, a beautiful model, umbrellas and a beach. This can only be MyWeddingStory.

Especially when you consider we also had torrential rain, what felt very much like hail, high winds, salt spray and freezing cold. Oh and a lot of fun.

Trash the dress - MyWeddingStory style (no dress trashing required)

There’s a fashion going around. It’s called “Trash the Dress” or “Rock the Dress” or something similar. We’ve even heard of one company calling it “Dirty Bride” shoots….

The idea is simple, you don’t really need that dress any more so you may as well take it out and get it dirty on a photoshoot. It’s a cool idea but I think it’s just wrong.

Why ruin a perfectly good dress on a photoshoot when you can get great results the MyWedding Story way?
