East meets West - Sharminda and Ian
October 6, 2008 | 25 Comments

You are cordially invited to the wedding of Ian and Sharminda at St Bartholomew’s Church in the beautiful Kent village of Waltham. Where the groom and his family have lived, well forever.
A tiny village in the midst of rolling countryside where the groom lives and farms.
You couldn’t get more English than that.
Except this is MyWeddingStory - real weddings, not fairy stories. So there’s always a twist….
Jessica and Barry and a HUGE veil in Chartham
September 8, 2008 | 8 Comments

Sometimes I forget that people actually read this website. Well, Jessica reads it. A lot. It was clear when I turned up at her house on Saturday that she has spent a lot of time and effort planning her wedding. And even though she and Barry booked me months ago she’s been keeping up with the news pretty much every day.

Becky and Allen came round the gallery yesterday after their honeymoon in Thailand. I don’t think I’ve ever heard so much laughter at a viewing! There were plenty of oohs and aahs too though and they seemed pretty pleased with their pictures :). Now they just have their album to choose.
There are some highlights below and if you want to see more then all the pictures from their Kentish wedding at Garlinge Methodist Church and Saint Augustine’s at Westgate are on the client site. Read more
Emily and Astrit at Farringtons “the whole country was crying”
August 12, 2008 | 3 Comments

Most pictures of wedding start with the bride. Instead, here’s Astrit. Kosovan, groom for the day, evangelical preacher and all round cool guy. He also has a bit of a way with words.
We got a little wet at his wedding to Emily. OK, we got very wet. The heavens opened and what could have been one of the most beautiful days ever turned into one of the wettest. It was so bad that a couple of the guests were even heard to say that it was a pity and that it might spoil the day a little. Then Astrit stood up for his speech and explained. He’s been in England for 5 days and everything was wonderful. Now the whole country was crying because he had the best girl. And all of a sudden the rain didn’t matter at all.
Becky and Allen - a perfectly planned wedding

Meet Becky. Becky likes to plan. A lot.
In fact, I first met Becky nearly two years ago when she booked be to photograph her wedding to Allen. When I met her a few weeks ago to finalise arrangement she had a huge bag full of paper planning her wedding. But you know what? It all worked out perfectly.
